Dear Friends of the Staffing Association of Washington (SAW),
Over the past few years, the SAW board of directors has discussed the best way to bring maximum value to the association membership. As the local Washington staffing chapter, we recognize the value and need to have grassroots organization to advocate, educate, and grow our incredible industry.
In order to create a more vibrant and viable organization, the SAW board has recently voted to transition the existing chapter to the new American Staffing Association regional council model. This new structure allows more resources and direct assistance from ASA to enhance the Washington staffing industry through professional development programs, state-specific resources, networking opportunities, grassroots advocacy, and other council-driven initiatives. The council leadership will be comprised of ASA members and will serve a similar function as SAW’s chapter board, while all Washington staffing and recruiting professionals are invited to participate in any upcoming local programming events.
If you are a current ASA member and are interested in participating in the new ASA Washington Council, please contact Joe Lindahl, ASA senior manager of regional councils and chapters, at firstname.lastname@example.org or 703.253.2058. For more information regarding ASA regional councils, please visit americanstaffing.net.
Finally, I would like to say thank you for your participation with SAW. I would like to especially thank the following volunteer leaders who have supported the chapter the past few years:
Please feel free to contact Joyce Matson at email@example.com or Chip Albright at firstname.lastname@example.org if you have any questions. I look forward to the outstanding future of the Washington staffing, recruiting, and workforce solutions industry.Debra Kerner, President
